During his offseason, Travis wasn’t just spending time in the VIP tents at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stops. He was also making that money by shooting commercials for everything from his new cereal to soda pop giant Pepsi.

Perhaps one of the most over-the-top commercials of the season, Pepsi’s Make Your Gameday Epic campaign features Travis and Meghan Thee Stallion with fellow NFL stars Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, and Justin Jefferson.

The three-minute clip, inspired by Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gladiator II and directed by his son, Jake, features a showdown set to “We Will Rock You (Megan Thee Stallion Version),” an updated take on the Queen classic performed by the rapper.

Travis and the other NFL stars enter a coliseum-style arena, ready to fight their way out as Meghan watches from her seat of honor. She eventually joins with a Pepsi, declaring, “Let the game day begin!”

In a further nod to the Gladiator films, Travis then says the famous line from the original, “What? Are you not entertained?”

The NFL star shared his experience shooting the commercial in a new behind-the-scenes footage posted on TikTok.

Travis is seen first getting into his Gladiator costume, before rolling around on the ground with his prop shield yelling, “Are you ready?”

The video ends with the crew applauding the New Heights podcast cohost as he wraps his last scene of the day. “It’s so cool man,” he said while laughing. “Woo!”

“It’s an absolute honor to be a part of something like this,” Travis said in the clip posted on Pepsi’s official TikTok page. “I’m so grateful to Pepsi for asking me to be a part of it. Just getting the thumbs up that I could handle the load of being a gladiator, I guess.”

He added, “It’s such a cool experience, and I’m excited that I got the opportunity.”

His new Pepsi commercial is not the only acting he did in the offseason. Travis will also appear in Ryan Murphy’s new horror project for FX, Grotesquerie, but his role is shrouded in mystery.

Travis’s 2024-2025 NFL season is also in full swing. He and the Chiefs are 2-0 and looking to take on the Falcons in week 3.
