‘The Valley’ Proof Jax & Brittany Split For Ratings?
Is there proof that The Valley stars, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright split solely for ratings? This has long been questioned as they announced their separation weeks before the spinoff premiered. The Valley Proof Jax & Brittany Split For Ratings?
When Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their split, it was weeks before the Season 1 premiere of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley. The timing seemed suspicious as fans wondered if it was a publicity stunt. They reassured everyone it was real and Brittany moved out of their Valley Village home. She and their son, Cruz, 3, had moved into an Airbnb and she was focusing on what was best for herself. During Season 1, the demise of their marriage played out, up until the finale.
In Season 2, they were still separated and Jax was seen fighting with co-star, Danny Booko. Shortly after, Jax entered an inpatient mental health treatment facility. Upon his exit, Brittany had him served with divorce papers. This will play out in the next season which just wrapped. It did look like the estranged exes were cuddling up but Brittany said it was another woman. Furthermore, Jax has moved out of their home and into an apartment where she has moved back in. However, fans now firmly believe this has all been staged for ratings.
Jax Taylor took to his Instagram stories to show off a homecooked meal that Brittany Cartwright made for him. Immediately, fans of The Valley headed to Reddit to share their thoughts on the whole situation:
- Honestly it would shock me if they dont drag this out for as long as people are willing to watch it
- 100% for the show. They break up season 2 and get back together season 3.
- Absolutely. This is starting to look more and more staged! I’d like to hope not lol I like Brittany, don’t get me wrong but she is just as calculated as he is 🤣
Method To Her Madness?
Though many fans felt the split was contrived and were sick of Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, others saw something else. Some The Valley fans felt that Brittany may have cooked up the meal for Jax because he was having a night with his son. Therefore, she did not want either of them to starve:
- Seems like he either dropped off Cruz or came to pick him up and Brittany is nice and invited him to dinner so they could eat with their son. Hopefully they can get along and coparent amicably.
- It reads to me like it’s his night w Cruz and Brit wanted to make sure they had dinner 😂
Others hoped Brittany’s motives were not as pure:
- Maybe she but laxatives or something in there.
- Either slowly getting back together or slowly killing him with heart disease via Kentucky cookin’
