‘FBI International’ Gives First Look At Jesse Lee Soffer
FBI: International just showed off what fans might expect from Jesse Lee Soffer as he joins the cast of the procedural series. Soffer left Chicago P.D. and he made the FBI spinoff his next destination, where he takes on the role of Supervisory Special Agent Wesley “Wes” Mitchell, the new Fly Team leader. The new trailer includes bits from all three FBI shows, and this also features Soffer.
Here is a look at what the new trailer showed about Soffer and what fans can expect.
Jesse Lee Soffer Appears In New FBI Trailer
The teaser showed that one of the new season’s biggest storylines sees a killer targeting FBI agents. The teaser was actually a mixture of all three shows, though, with FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted. It looks like all three shows will feature some major action and intrigue.
For Stoffer, his arrival is all because of a tragedy at home. When someone shoots his partner, Wes Mitchell heads overseas when the suspect runs to Budapest. He then begins interacting with Fly Team. However, the exact reason that he became the new leader remains unknown for now.
There was one moment in the trailer where Vo says the team needs a leader and Wes said they should get to work. It will remain interesting to see how he moves into this role on the team.
When Do FBI Shows Return For New Seasons?
All three FBI shows return on the same night, just under a month away. All three shows return to CBS on Tuesday, October 15. FBI airs at 8/7c, followed by FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted.
For FBI: International, while Jesse Lee Soffer is coming to the show, there are also several people who left the cast. Luke Kleintank (Scott Forrester) and Heida Reed (Jamie Kellett) both ended up written out of the show in season 3. This means the first and second in command left, which opened the door for Soffer to join the cast.
As a result, it seems that FBI: International Season 4 is mostly a reset and will establish a new lineup for the team as the new year begins. Along with Soffer, Station 19 alumni, Jay Hayden is also joining up as a recurring cast member called Agent Tyler Booth. He is an intelligent agent who turns to the team for assistance with a case in Budapest. He won’t join up until later into the second half of the season.
