‘DWTS’ Gleb Savchenko Sends Support To Artem Chigvintsev
Ever since his arrest for domestic violence, many Dancing with the Stars fans have been waiting to see what Artem Chigvintsev’s fellow dance pros were going to say about the situation. Now, it turns out that at least one of them has reached out to Artem following the incident.

Gleb Savchenko Reaches Out To Artem Chigvintsev
On August 29, police arrested Artem Chigvintsev for domestic violence accusations. He received a charge of corporal injury to his spouse, and his wife, Nikki Garcia, filed for divorce two weeks later.
Now, it appears that DWTS pro-Gleb Savchenko is speaking out in support of Artem after his arrest. Gleb spoke about the incident after the Dancing with the Stars Season 33 premiere, where he is partnering with Brooks Nader. After the event, he was asked about Artem.
Gleb said that Artem is “part of the family.” He also said that Artem is “just my brother, and I send him love and positivity.”
While the abuse charges stand, Nikki Garcia, who worked in WWE as Nikki Bella, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. In the divorce papers, she listed August 29 as the date of the separation. That was the day Artem was arrested. It was also two dates after their wedding anniversary.

What Happened With Nikki Garcia & Artem Chigvintsev?
Artem Chigvintsev was booked into the Napa County Jail and given a $25,000 bail. He left less than an hour later. No description of what happened between Nikki and Artem was released and is not available in the police report either. However, injuries were reportedly involved.
Nikki and Artem share a four-year-old son named Matteo. Garcia has asked for full legal and physical custody of the child, with Artem to be allowed visitation. Artem counted by requesting joint legal and physical custody of Matteo. Artem also asked for spousal support.
Neither Nikki nor Artem has made any public statements. Nikki asked for privacy, and Artem’s attorney said that the two are “focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son.”
On top of Gleb Savchenko, former DWTS pro, Cheryl Burke, also spoke out, saying she was in shock about the arrest. Former Bachelorette Charity Lawson, who partnered with Artem in Season 32, also commented on the arrest. She said she was “blindsided” and that she has given Artem and Nikki space, choosing not to get involved.
