Brittany Cartwright’s Shocking Truth About Jax’s Parenting

The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has been an open book since filing to end her marriage to Jax Taylor. Now, she is opening up about what it is like to co-parent with the former Vanderpump Rules star.

Brittany Cartwright And Jax Taylor Vowed To Put Their Son First

When Brittany filed to divorce Jax officially in late August after five years of marriage, she requested primary legal and physical custody of their son, Cruz, 3.

The move made some fans wonder how bad things were between them since she only offered visitation rights to her estranged husband.

Jax seemingly addressed the situation during an episode of their podcast, admitting the split was “best for their family.”

He added that he really wanted to have an “amicable” co-parenting relationship with Brittany and hoped they could be “really, really good friends one day.”

“I know I’m an amazing father, and I know that I will make an excellent ex-husband.”

Brittany Updates Fans On Her Co-Parenting Relationship With Jax

Brittany and Jax have been splitting parental duties since their separation in January. At the time, Brittany moved into an Airbnb with Cruz, while Jax stayed in their home. As they work out the specifics of their split, things have flip-flopped, with Brittany and Cruz back in their home and Jax in a new apartment.

The Valley fans took the arrangement change as a possible sign that things were peaceful between them and they were, in fact, doing what is right for their son.

While their relationship regarding their son may be amicable, Brittany admits they have “work to do”.

“He’s a great dad. Great dad, terrible husband,” Brittany told People.

“I’m not ever going to take Cruz away from him. We will always put Cruz first and we are going to work towards a healthy co-parenting relationship.”

“It’s going to take some time. Still, things are very raw between us, but for the most part, I do know if I needed something, if Cruz needed something, I could call him and he would be there for us.”

Fans will get to see Brittany and Jax’s split play out in Season 2 of their Vanderpump Rules spinoff.

While they have agreed to put Cruz first, rumors are circulating that things got heated between them at the season finale party.

A new report claims Brittany was shown “graphic and explicit text messages” between Jax and an unnamed woman as cameras rolled.

Brittany has not commented on the rumors, but she did weigh in on an image circulating from the party.

The photo shows what appears to be a raging Jax yelling in a woman’s face.

“That’s definitely not me, I don’t want him in my face,” Brittany assured fans.
