‘Family Feud’ Steve Harvey Reprimands Braxton Family
Steve Harvey often has the best lines on Family Feud. This is because he is allowed to mostly improvise when the players or the game goes in an interesting direction. That happened in a recent episode of the celebrity version of the hit game show, which featured the Braxton family.

Steve Harvey Deals with Braxton Family On Celebrity Family Feud
The Braxton family was part of an episode of Celebrity Family Feud, and the show’s social media site brought back a moment in which Steve Harvey had to explain to the women how they were supposed to play the game. With Season 11 wrapping up this week with a “Best of Steve Harvey” episode, it was a good chance to remind viewers how quick and witty he really is.
In the episode, Singer/Songwriter Toni Braxton and her sisters Tamar, Trina, Traci, and Towanda appeared on Celebrity Family Feud and were as dysfunctional as ever. This clip made the “Best of Steve Harvey” episode because of his shock at how the family didn’t seem to support each other even when trying to win.
The clip had Steve asking the Braxton family, “Name something a wife would hate to see her ex buy right after the divorce?” The sisters laughed and joked at first, with Tamar saying that Trina should get this because she just got divorced. This dates the original airing of the episode around 2015.
“A new ring for another woman,” Trina answered, and that was the number-two answer on the board. The turn came around to Trina again for a second chance, and this time, she had an off-the-wall answer. “How about a car seat, Steve?” Trina said.
Normally, when a family member gives an obviously wrong answer, her family cheers her on anyway. That is not how the Braxton’s roll. Tamar looked at her sister and asked, “A who?”
This led Steve to lecture the family on how to play Family Feud. “Listen to me,” Steve said. “When your family gives an answer, you’re supposed to say, ‘Good answer, good answer, good answer!” Of course, it wasn’t on the board.
Fans Loved Braxtons On Family Feud
The moment might have been nine years old, but thanks to the “Best of Steve Harvey” episode, it is fresh in fans’ minds again. They swept into the comments on the Instagram post to praise the Braxton sisters.
