Joan Vassos – Good Morning America
Undeniably, when a person is handed multiple good-looking and talented gentlemen to comb through, it is going to be difficult to figure out who should leave. Furthermore, in early episodes, she doesn’t have much time to get to know them. But Joan asserts her self-assured strategy that carried her through.
Joan Vassos Shares Strategy For Eliminating Men
Tonight, September 18, Joan Vassos will kick off her “Second, Second Chance at Love.” While Bachelor Nation has teased fans with quick facts about the twenty-four hunks chasing Joan, she admits the first episode is full of chaos. But the private school administrator went in with a plan and kept to it. Since she has the daunting task of sifting through the handsome suitors, she made sure they were measuring up to her standards.
Although she was facing a mental battle while acquainting with the men, she stuck to her guns sorting through them. On night one, first impressions are everything. Not only will the men be rewarded if they make the most impactful interaction with a “First Impression Rose” but in Joan’s season it might be what sends them home. She is very in tune with how conversations go with the men. Specifically, if conversation comes easily without it feeling forced.
Ebb And Flow Through Conversation
Undeniably, Joan Vassos needs to know she will be able to open up and get deeper in a short period on The Golden Bachelorette. Likewise, Joan based her difficult decision the first night on the temperature of the interactions. She says, “Maybe if it didn’t flow easily, that was maybe a sign sometimes.” Further explaining her strategy, she said she had to look for red flags, “You’re almost looking for something to help you make the decision and you’re looking for a red flag, and it’s too early in the relationship to see red flags generally.”
But her intuition of listening to the guys talk with her seemed to serve her well. Although hard to know the right decision in the first week, she weeded out a few that weren’t immediate sparks. Although she wants to find her new love, she needs someone who will make her life fun and exciting. Furthermore, she wants a guy that will make her laugh and value family. But also a person who will stick with her during difficult times. She says, “It’s more like a feeling, like if you’re really comfortable talking to each other if you connect.” Then, she adds, “That initial first date kind of connection. It’s really hard to figure out.”
The Golden Bachelorette premieres September 18 at 8/7c on ABC. Then, stream it later on Hulu.
