Jen Lilley No Longer Exclusive To GAF: Will ‘Days,’ ‘GH’ Alum Return To Hallmark?
Hallmark alum Jen Lilley, who left the feel-good network for Great American Family, is no longer exclusive to GAF anymore. The Days Of Our Lives alum shared this information as well as what her latest projects are.
Why is the A Little Daytime Drama star no longer exclusive with this network?
Jen Lilley Is No Longer Exclusive With Great American Family
On Wednesday, in an exclusive interview, Heavy reported that Jen Lilley is no longer exclusive to Great American Family. She did not renew her contract with former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott’s network. “2024 has been a year of non-exclusivity and new adventures.” The General Hospital alum declared, “You know, it’s been a real turning point for me in my life.”
Although she chose not to renew, and also decided to stop her Christmas Is Not Canceled charity events, she is busier than ever. Jen shared that she needs a spreadsheet to keep track of all of her projects.
I think when you pursue something wholeheartedly, and you keep running into closed doors, and then you rally and try a different method, and you hit another wall, sometimes it’s best to just be like, ‘There must be a reason for this, because my heart’s in the right place, and I’m doing things the right way, taking the high road, doing things ethically, and things are not panning out.’
That also means that she is open and available to work for Hallmark again. Jen added that she still has many friends with the network.
What Is Jen Lilley Doing Now?
What is in the cards for Jen Lilley? She is part of the A Little Women Christmas movie ensemble that will premiere on Great American Family on Saturday, November 23, at 8 p.m., Eastern. In addition, she stars along with Nick Bateman in Operation Mistletoe. However, she has not divulged which network will air this acquisition.
In addition, Jen wants to do more producing, as well as occasional acting.
Has There Been A Mass Exodus From Great American Family?
It appears that Jen Lilley is not the only talent that has moved on from being exclusive to Great American Family. This week, the network released their Great American Christmas schedule. This list of movies did not include Lori Loughlin, Jessica Lowndes, or Susie Abromeit.
The biggest surprise is that Lori Loughlin was not part of Jen’s movie A Little Women Christmas. That is because When Calls The Heart co-creator Brian Bird is the executive producer of this movie. He has long spoken of having Lori back on the Hallmark series. Therefore, it seems quite a surprise she is not in this movie.
Also, Trevor Donovan, who went to GAF early, and also is in this movie, seems to have a small role in this ensemble cast. Could he be the next star officially exiting GAF?
