Candace Cameron Bure Ecstatic To Be A Grandma
Is Candace Cameron Bure ready to be a grandma soon? After her son, Lev, got married about eight months ago, fans wonder if she is counting down the days to buy the “My favorite people call me grandma” shirt.
Does Candace Cameron Bure Want A Full House?
Candace Cameron Bure is an actress who is best known for her role as D.J. Tanner in the 90s show Full House. The sitcom got eight seasons and was so beloved by fans that it got a spin-off. Therefore, the newer generations got to experience the joys of the series without having to watch Mom’s 90s show.
Full House follows the recently widowed Danny Tanner, who enlists the help of his best friend, Joey Gladstone, and brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis, to help raise his three young girls, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle.
Fuller House takes place much later in the future as the recently widowed D.J. Fuller-Tanner enlists the help of her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibbler to help raise her three boys, Jackson, Max, and Tommy.
Now, Bure is best known for starring in Hallmark Christmas movies. Bure seemed to get her own Full House, as seen in the childhood shows. Bure is married to Valeri Bure, the ice hockey player whose Olympic swimmer father recently passed away.
Candace and Valeri have three kids together, but no, it’s not three boys like Fuller House, just pretty close. Her three kids are Natasha Bure, Maksim Valerievich Bure, and Lev Valerievich Bure. All her children are in their 20s, with Lev, 24, recently getting married earlier this year to Elliot Dunham.
A Fairy Tale Wedding
Bure shared a series of photos from the wedding and captioned it, “I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure,” which she completed with a ring and red heart emoji. Additionally, she shared that her heart felt so full with the marriage.
At the 90s Con red carpet event on Saturday, September 14th, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Bure shared her joy with PEOPLE. She said, “I love his wife so much. It’s just fun to see them growing together in marriage, and they’re super happy.”
She also shared her joy in the fact that “they live 10 minutes from us, so we still kind of see them every day. It’s a mom and dad’s dream.”
A month after the wedding, PEOPLE asked Bure again about the wedding. She was still star-eyed as she said, “Oh goodness, the whole thing was amazing. I’m mother of the groom, so it was like a highlight of my entire life.” She gushed about the couple, saying, “They’re so in love” and “makes my mama heart swell.”
World’s Best Future Grandma
Bure was happy about the marriage for two reasons: adding another daughter to her family and being a young grandma, hopefully. It seems Candace Cameron Bure wants a Full House on and off the screen.
When further talking to PEOPLE at the 90s Con red carpet event, Bure revealed her true feelings on the matter. She expressed that she “can’t wait to be a grandma.” The young mom added, “I don’t know when that’s going to happen – no pressure from me.”
Despite having three kids, the mom still has so much love for the little monsters. She said, “Babies are the best, so I just want cuddles and kisses and to munch on little chubby legs and hands and feet.”
Maybe Bure is feeling a bit of the empty nest syndrome despite getting to spend lots of time with her kids. Hopefully, Bure will get all her grandma merch soon when her kids are ready for that next step. She will be waiting patiently.
