‘WCTH’ Couple Has Secret Wedding: Who Finally Got Married?
This past weekend was the annual Hearties Family Reunion and those WCTH fans got more than selfies in front of Hope Valley iconic sites and meeting their favorite stars. They found out that one beloved couple that met on the Jamestown set have officially tied the knot.
Who got married and what are the details?
WCTH Couple Secretly Gets Married
Over the years, many couples have met on the Hallmark set. That is also true with When Calls The Heart. That includes Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace who went Instagram official a few years ago. In addition, two years ago, they got engaged in New York City, with fellow WCTH castmates and friends, Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum there to celebrate together. However, despite some wedding talk from Kevin, there has been no mention of a wedding date.
It turns out that Kevin and Kayla are officially wed! When did this happen?
On Sunday, one of the WCTH groups shared on Instagram a scene from the Hearties Family Reunion. Kevin McGarry was part of the cast panel and a host asked him about his ring finger, where there was a band.
The host seemed to be asking if this was a prop and whether or not Nathan Grant, Kevin’s character, was married. “You’ve got a ring on your finger. I hope it’s not a prop.”
After he confirmed that the ring was not a prop, he waved his hand to show the crowd of Hearties he wore a wedding ring. The Hearties cheered enthusiastically. However, he did not share any information on their wedding.
Kevin kept the details of his marriage very private, as opposed to their very public courtship and engagement.

Kevin McGarry And Kayla Wallace Met On The Hallmark Set
It seems fitting that Kevin made this announcement with so many devoted WCTH fans in the audience. Back in November 2020, the couple went Instagram official, with ET confirming that the couple met on the Hallmark set. Kevin had shared a post that included two cups of coffee and several Polaroids of the couple together. The caption read “Photo evidence.”
It seemed natural that McGarry met Kayla Wallace on the set during When Calls The Heart Season 6. Both were new to the Hallmark series and started out as friends. Although Kevin portrayed Mountie Nathan, a love interest for Erin Krakow’s Elizabeth Thornton, Kayla portrayed free spirit entrepreneur Fiona Miller. While they rarely shared time onscreen, they made up for it off-screen.
Then, two years later, the couple were engaged in New York. But, when Season 11 premiered earlier this year, they still had not gotten married. Therefore, they must have privately tied the knot between then and now.
Hopefully, some details and photos will be revealed for those Hearties who wish them all the happiness in the world.
