Tito Jackson’s Death Confirmed By Nephew & Family Friend
Entertainment Tonight broke the news of Tito’s death. Word of the music star’s passing came from Steve Manning, who is a longtime friend of the Jackson family.
It is believed that Tito Jackson suffered a heart attack while on a road trip. He was driving from Oklahoma to New Mexico. At this time, the cause of death is still undetermined. Siggy Jackson, Tito’s nephew, confirmed the news of his death.
Tito Jackson is most well-known as being a member of the Jackson 5. The group became an international sensation in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Jackson 5 is known for hits such as “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There.” Eventually, Michael Jackson became the stand-out star of the family group. However, the chemistry among the brothers was an essential part of the group’s overall success.
Even though Michael went on to start his own solo career, the Jackson 5 (eventually just called the Jacksons) continued to make music. They went on to collaborate with stars like Mick Jagger and continued to perform around the world.
Tito’s Sons Pay Tribute To Their Late Father
Tito passed on his musical prowess to his three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ. They formed the group 3T and, with Tito as their manager, released their debut album “Brotherhood.” Their uncle, Michael Jackson, co-produced the album and it became certified gold in several countries.
The late Jackson 5 star shared the three boys with his wife Delores “Dee Dee” Jackson. His sons took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to their father.
They shared several photos of their dad over the years. Some photos showed him during his Jackson 5 days, while others showed him alongside his sons.

In the caption, they wrote, “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.”
It continued, “Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as ‘Coach Tito’ or some know him as ‘Poppa T.’ Nevertheless, he will be missed tremendously. It will forever be “Tito Time” for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another.’ We love you Pops.”
Tito Recently Paid Tribute To Michael Jackson In Chilling Post
In 1997, Tito Jackson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the rest of the Jackson 5. Michael was the only one of the group to precede Tito in death.
The news of Tito’s passing comes days after a chilling Instagram post. He recently shared a photo of himself standing in front of a memorial for his late brother, Michael Jackson.
In the caption, he wrote, “Before our show in Munich, my brothers Jackie, Marlon, and I, visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson. We’re deeply grateful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive.”
Recently, Tito had been performing with his brothers, Marlon and Jackie, as the Jacksons. He’d also performed many shows as a blues guitarist with the B.B. King Blues Band.
Many fans were creeped out by Tito Jackson’s post after learning of his passing on Sunday. Fans took to the comment section to offer condolences, with many of them saying that Tito was “with his brother now.”
