Karen Derrico Changes Mind, Deletes Deon’s Birthday Post
Doubling Down With The Derricos‘ mom, Karen Derrico is always very thoughtful when it comes to her family. Undeniably, she goes the extra mile to celebrate those nearest and dearest to her. However, keen-eyed followers catch that she changed her mind about her post for Deon Derrico’s birthday.
Deon And Karen Derrico Value The Relationship For Their Kids
Although the Doubling Down With The Derricos parents, Deon and Karen Derrico went through a divorce earlier this year, they are still finding ways to appreciate each other. Undeniably, the transition of life after divorce has to be difficult. However, the two know that their fourteen kids are the main priority. Even so, it can be a bit tricky to raise a large brood of kids separately but together. Since the divorce is relatively new, they are still navigating how they want to approach big days like the birthday of an ex-spouse yet parent to the kids. Anyone would be apt to change their mind a time or two with a sticky situation like parenting through a mutually respectful divorce.
Karen Derrico Changes Mind, Deletes Deon’s Birthday Post
On Instagram and Facebook, Karen Derrico made a post about the father of her kids, Deon Derrico. However, she quickly took it down. After changing her mind on what to include, she deleted the first post but added a new one. Unmistakably, the post that remains is still a beautiful tribute to the father of her kids. She captions: “Differences set aside… I just wanted to say happy birthday to @deonderrico 🎂🎉 May the love of our children continue to exhaust you with love ❤️😊. #thederricos.” Then, she adds a video spotlighting Deon on his birthday.
But what made her change her post? Although the reason isn’t clear, fans who caught the first post note that the second one removes some cherished words. When the post went back up, she edited off “best father in the world” but returned the new post with the sweet video and the current kind caption. Later, Deon also reshared her post on his Instagram page.
Many People Missed The Original Post
However, most fans didn’t see the original post. In like fashion, fans on both Instagram and Facebook left many birthday wishes for Deon Derrico. Undoubtedly, this is a new time in Deon and Karen Derrico’s lives. Without a doubt, it must be difficult to navigate when and what to say. Several fans hope to see the couple reconcile but most just want Deon to enjoy his big day.
