Brie Wanted Twin Nikki Garcia To Leave Artem Chigvintsev

Brie wanted her twin, Nikki Garcia to leave Artem Chigvintsev after the recent arrest for domestic violence. Their seemingly perfect romance seems to unravel more and more since news of the arrest broke out.

Though everything seemed like the perfect relationship as Nikki even posted a very sweet second anniversary to Artem back in just August of this year, everything seemed to change so drastically.

Nikki and Artem have been romantically linked to each other since 2019 after she ended things with John Cena. Artem and Nikki got married in August 2022 after she gave birth to their son Matteo in July 2020.

Garcia is best known for being in the WWE with her sister Brie as the “Bella Twins.” Now, she is a TV personality and model. Currently, she is the host of the celebrity game show, Barmageddon. In the series, celebrities compete against each other in bar games for a cash prize to support a viral internet sensation.

Chigvintsev was reportedly arrested in Napa Valley California on August 29th for domestic violence. However, he was bailed out for $25,000 before the day ended. Additionally, Chigvintsev is reportedly not ready for what’s to come amid the arrest. Chigvintsev even removed his wife’s name from his Instagram bio after the events.

It has also been reported that friends of the couple were not surprised that Chigvintsev had been arrested for domestic violence as Nikki and Artem’s relationship was always strained.

On Wednesday, Nikki officially filed for divorce and is reportedly pushing for full custody of 4-year-old Matteo. This seemed to be encouraged by her twin sister, Brie.

Twin Support

As expected for twins, Brie and Nikki Garcia are very close. Additionally, the twins did a TV show called Twin Love which showcased the separation of twins into separate houses to find love. The Bella Twins expressed how hard it is for twins to find love because they are born with their soulmate.

Even in the relationship department, the twins look out for one another. Brie was one of the main drivers in getting Nikki to separate from Artem after the arrest. Brie was worried for her sister and Nikki’s son.

Furthermore, the source reported to Entertainment Tonight that “any sort of violence does not fly.” Additionally, they said Nikki and Artem are living separately now as Nikki is “scared and rattled” after the events.

Regarding the divorce, Nikki has requested full legal and physical custody. Additionally, she is only allowing Chigvintsev visitation, but she does not want spousal support.

From the other side of the relationship, Chigvintsev asked for spousal support and joint custody of Matteo. Moreover, he wants Nikki to be responsible for the cost of an attorney in dealing with the matter.
