‘RHOM’ Star Dr. Nicole Martin Announces Show Departure
Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami has been greenlit, however, one housewife has already announced that they won’t be returning for it. And she’s a fan favorite.
Dr. Nicole Martin Leaves RHOM
Dr. Nicole Martin recently took to social media to share that she is officially not returning to RHOM for its seventh season.
The reason behind her departure has to do with her daughter Genevieve, who she gave birth to a few months ago. It was an early birth, welcoming her over a month ahead of schedule.
The reality star revealed that she is currently going through postpartum anxiety and needs time away from the screen to sort it out.
“Prioritizing my health and my family is something I need to do at this moment. It’s a step towards healing and finding balance, and I hope you can understand and support this choice,” she explained.
The Instagram post was flooded with supportive comments from fellow Bravo stars, including Andy Cohen and her now former RHOM co-star Guerdy Abraira.
Fans Devastated Over Dr. Nicole’s Exit
After hearing the news, RHOM fans are extremely upset about the housewife stepping down from the show.

In a Reddit thread, fans applauded Nicole for giving them great on-screen moments while it lasted and vented their distress. Here are a few of the comments:
- “This genuinely made me so sad. She was top tier HW for me- Stunning, rich as f–k, stylish, level headed but not above drama and with messy family life.”
- “She was one of the fan favorites and was the epitome of contemporary Miami lifestyle.”
- “She’s on my Mt. Rushmore of Housewives.”
Needless to say, even though Martin had only been on the show for three seasons, it’s clear that she made a huge impact on the fanbase.
Is Dr. Nicole Leaving RHOM For Good?
Even though it may seem like she is throwing in the reality TV towel, Dr. Nicole has made it clear that this is not the last time fans are going to see her.
“It’s not goodbye forever, I’ll pop up here and there, just not in a full-time capacity,” she clarified. “I just need to shift my focus on other things right now.”
So far, only two housewives, Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein, have confirmed that they will be returning for Season 7. The jury is still out on whether other stars will be coming back. Or, Bravo might plan to do a cast switch-up like Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City.
