Kourtney Kardashian Launches ‘All Natural’ Ozempic Alternative
Kourtney Kardashian has been widely out of the public eye since giving birth to her son Rocky Barker last November. Although she’s been in a self-described “baby bubble,” Kourt has still found time to work on new products for her Lemme brand. The latest development has been an Ozempic-like supplement. So, what are the details behind the “all-natural” alternative? Here’s everything we know so far.
An All-Natural Ozempic Supplement From Lemme
While Kourtney Kardashian has been mainly focused on her little family recently, the craze around Ozempic didn’t go unnoticed by The Kardashians star. Now, the reality TV star is selling an over-the-counter plant-based supplement that will mirror the same results as the popular weight loss drug.
It is called GLP-1 Daily. The plant-based supplement is different from Ozempic in several ways. First, it is available to anyone. You don’t need a doctor’s prescription to get access to it. Second, it is being marketed as a natural weight loss alternative and contains three plant extracts that will help you shed weight.
A recent poll showed that one in eight Americans have used drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. So, Kourtney Kardashian is definitely getting into a hot market.
Kourt spoke with Vogue about the development of the new product. She told the publication, “If you told me when I launched the brand that this would be a product we were making, I wouldn’t believe you. But GLP-1 medications have been helpful to so many people. The drug clearly has so many benefits, but it also has a lot of side effects.”
The side effects, such as extreme nausea and stomach problems, were a key reason that The Kardashians star decided to work on an alternative. Some of her followers started sending her DMs requesting an all-natural open. This motivated her to work on GLP-1 Daily.
How Effective Is Kourtney Kardashian’s New Product?
Dr. Kathleen Valenton, who is Kourtney Kardashian’s personal doctor, spoke about how there is a market out there for Lemme’s latest product. “I hear from so many patients in my practice each day who have taken a GLP-1 medication that they are really looking for natural alternatives without side effects,” she said.
The doctor is also on Lemme’s medical advisory board. She helped lead the brand’s medical team to pinpoint a formula based on three plant-based ingredients. Eriomin lemon fruit extract, Supresa saffron extract, and Morosil red-orange fruit extract all play a key role in GLP-1 Daily.
“For me, this product was never just about weight loss,” Kourtney told Vogue. “We formulated GLP-1 Daily because it allows you to regulate your glucose levels, to fight visceral fat, and to reduce inflammation. There are health benefits beyond weight loss.”
That said, Kourtney Kardashian hasn’t tried the supplement herself. It isn’t safe for breastfeeding mothers. Additionally, there haven’t been enough studies on how supplements like GLP-1 Daily impact weight loss or what side effects might come with it.
