TLC recently released a new trailer for 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3. The series returns to the network in a little over a month, but many fans felt sorely disappointment by the featured storylines.
During the course of Season 2, Vannessa Cross became a fan favorite. Her dedication and hard work made fans fall in love with her. But it’s clear she’s facing a new challenge in Season 3 — bullying.

1000-Lb Best Friends Fans Think The Women Bully Vannessa Cross
While many 1000-Lb Best Friends are excited to see a new season, not everyone felt impressed by the newest trailer. After it premiered, many expressed their disappointment online.
In the video, Vannessa feels proud of her weight loss, but the other women seem intent on tearing her down.
“Lifting Vannessa up…after watching the trailer for the new season…what?!?!?” one Redditor wrote on the platform recently. “I am super disappointed that the ladies did not throw a bash/party for Vanessa. I can not imagine not gushing about how proud you are of Vannessa’s extreme accomplishments, or celebrating her consistent mental toughness and dedication. What Vannessa did was very difficult. She deserves recognition for that…”
The OP went on to elaborate on their feelings, primarily blaming Meghan for letting Vannessa down.
“Why be jealous of someone else’s success, when you can get off your butt and produce the same results?” the OP added.
Sadly, many other 1000-Lb Best Friends fans agreed with these sentiments.
“It really bothered me when Meghan shouted that Vanessa was only where she was because of her,” another Redditor chimed in. “She may have encouraged her in the beginning but Vanessa’s success was accomplished by her hard work and lifestyle changes. Meghan can’t take ANY credit for that and it’s gross that she’s trying to.”

Tina Arnold Rails Against The Show On Instagram
Fans who caught the trailer might have noticed someone was missing — Tina Arnold.
Tina formally announced she quit the show earlier in the year. After the trailer came out, she went on an unhinged Instagram rant, even going as far as to call Vannessa Cross TLC’s “cash cow.” Tina said she parted ways with the show due to her personal beliefs about weight loss surgery.
