Bachelorette Star Not Ready To Date After Ex’s Betrayal
Jenn Tran and Devin Strader broke up just a few months after getting engaged on Season 21 of The Bachelorette. Their split was revealed on the After The Final Rose special earlier this month. Jenn Tran said that her ex-fiance pulled away from her and ghosted her, but she didn’t know why. She also claimed that he broke up with her over the phone instead of telling her in person.
After a week of keeping silent, Devin Strader was ready to share his side of the breakup. He posted a long video debunking many of Jenn’s claims. Devin admitted to breaking up over the phone but said it was because she wouldn’t agree to meet in person. His video also included screen recordings of literally hundreds of texts the former couple exchanged.
The text leak received backlash from several Bachelor Nation alums, including Sam McKinney and Katie Thurston. Jenn finally addressed it during an appearance on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast. She said that she was upset by the betrayal.
When asked if she had been on any dates since the end of her engagement, Jenn Tran said she wasn’t ready yet. But…. if the right person slid into her DMs, she would consider it. Especially her celebrity crushes.
Jenn Tran Makes Bold Move On NBA Player
Jenn Tran confessed to Nick Viall that she would consider going on a coffee date with Boston Celtics player Jayson Tatum.
“I think of the hottest man alive — if Jayson Tatum, my celebrity crush, came up to me to go on a date, I don’t think I can say ‘yes’ yet because it would be messy. But if he wanted to go on a friend date, I would.”
But she quickly course-corrected after finding out he’s been in a relationship with Ella Mai since 2020. “I’m so sorry, Ella,” Jenn said about hitting on another woman’s man.
Shoots Her Shot With Another Basketball Star
With one NBA player off her list, Jenn Tran had a backup option. She said, “You know what? I’m switching my celebrity crush. Max Strus, if you’re out there and you’re single, I’m here and I’m ready.”
