‘RHOSLC’ Andy Cohen Reveals Season 5 Kicks Off With A ‘Bang’
The RHOSLC Season 5 premiere is just days away, Housewives head honcho Andy Cohen is teasing fans about what they can expect from their favorite ladies from Utah.
Andy Cohen Says RHOSLC Season 5 Premiere Includes A Bravo First
During a recent appearance on Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis Live, the Bravo boss revealed that the ladies are returning with a “bang.”
“It’s very good, and the first episode starts with such a bang, and they do something that I don’t think has been done on a Housewives show before, which is the first full episode is the first full all-cast event,” he explained.
“And so much happens.”
“It’s excellent, and the women are great, and it feels very fresh,” Andy continued.
Season 4 is widely considered their best season (“proof, receipts, timeline!”), so the ladies have much to live up to.
“This feels very, from the jump, ‘Oh, wow, they’re off to the races,'” he added. “It’s very good. I can’t wait. Yeah, it’s really good.”
RHOSLC Is Introducing Three New Faces On Season 5
Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsanevas are all back for Season 5.
After appearing as a friend, Mary Cosby is back to being a full-time cast member for the first time since Season 2.
Season 5 will also introduce a new full-time wife, Bronwyn Newport, and new friends, Meili Workman and Britani Bateman.
Bronwyn, a friend of Lisa, was raised Mormon and passionately pursues “couture, art, and a first-class lifestyle,” according to her Bravo bio.
She is married to Todd, who is 26 years older than her, and has a daughter, Gwen, from a previous relationship.
During the season, she reportedly realizes that her friend Lisa may not “support her in the way she wants.”
Whitney’s friend, Meili, a model with a husband and four young kids, wants to find her identity outside of motherhood. Raised LDS in California, she moved to Utah to become closer to the church.
Britani’s Bravo bio says she is an “actress, model, singer, and mother to two daughters.” She owns PURE Productions and works in real estate.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premieres on September 18 on Bravo.
Fans can stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
