‘DWTS’ Peta Murgatroyd Involved In Terrifying Car Crash
Peta Murgatroyd opted to sit out of Dancing With The Stars this year. However, fans are still incredibly interested in her life. She and her husband, fellow dancer Maks Chmerkovskiy, have three sons at home. Family life keeps them busy, but they also have plenty of professional projects on their plates.
However, a recent car accident really shook Peta up. Read on to see how Maks reacted to the situation and what Peta had to say as well.
Peta Murgatroyd Wasn’t Expecting A Massive Disruption Like This
Life has been incredibly busy for the Chmerkovskiys since they welcomed their third child over the summer. While Peta felt delighted to have another baby, she ultimately decided she wasn’t physically ready to rejoin Dancing With The Stars.
For now, she’s focusing on recovering and spending time with her husband and sons.
Sadly, Peta Murgatroyd was involved in a car accident this week. Although the vehicles seemed to have absorbed the brunt of the damage, fans were still terrified and worried for the safety of the Australian dancer. As the mother of three sons and a professional dancer, a serious injury could completely disrupt her life.
Maks documented the aftermath of the crash on his Instagram story. At the end of the day, the family and their fans alike are incredibly thankful the damage wasn’t worse.
The Pro Dancers Reveal The Damage From A Horrifying Car Accident
On Monday, September 9, Maks added a video to his Instagram story, revealing that Peta had been in an accident. He added the caption, “Well that just happened.”
Peta also appeared in the video, covering her mouth and saying she was about to cry. Maks turned the camera to the street, revealing a car had smashed into the back of Peta’s car.
“This is our car. This is somebody’s car that smashed into our car,” the father of three shared. However, the damage was much worse. Maks went on to show another car across the street and another car on the road.
“This is somebody’s car that smashed into this car that smashed into our car, that smashed into the front,” he added before confirming no one was seriously injured. Peta said she felt like she had whiplash, but was otherwise fine.

Hopefully, Peta will recover from whiplash and can continue dancing. Fans want nothing but the best for their family after the frightening incident.
