Wayne Brady Makes A Deal
Wayne Brady is best known for his role as the host of Let’s Make A Deal. He also had The Wayne Brady Show which was a talk show from 2002-2004. Additionally, he is a producer and performer on Who’s Line Is It Anyway?
Brady even appeared on the Masked Singer Season 2 and won. Currently, he has the reality show, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix. The episodes air on Freeform before becoming available to stream on Hulu. The series showcases the daily occurrences of his unusual family.
Brady has been married twice. He was married to Mandie Taketa for nine years and Diana Lasso for two years, Taketa being the most recent as they ended their marriage in 2008. Reportedly, Brady and Taketa have made amends and are working together to raise their family as friends.
Wayne Brady and Taketa are co-parents for two children. Maile Masako Brady is the daughter of Brady and Taketa. Brady’s on-and-off ex-girlfriend, Tina, was pregnant with his son, Val back in 2022.
Taketa adopted Sundance-Isamu with her boyfriend Jason Fordham in September 2021. The young boy is Brady’s godfather whom he calls Duncle which is the combined version of Daddy and Uncle. Brady was given this title because he has had such a close relationship with Taketa despite the divorce.
Brady has explained in interviews prior that Taketa, her boyfriend, Jason, and Maile are a family as unusual as it may seem to some. Additionally, Brady once said that he and Taketa have always lived a few minutes from each other if that. They have even lived right next door to one another.
