Lacey Chabert Talks About New Hallmark+ Series
Recently, Lacey Chabert spoke to TV Insider about her new Hallmark+ reality series, Celebrations With Lacey Chabert. Firstly, she revealed that she came up with this idea herself. She explained that her first conversation that she had with Lisa Hamilton Daly, the EVP of Programming at Hallmark Media was this idea. Their conversation was about future roles, and this is what interested her. Daly was ready to run with this idea as the network planned to venture into unscripted territory.
After she and a Hallmark team put together this idea, they decided to focus on “everyday heroes.” However, each party is bespoke. After talking to friends, family, and colleagues, Lacey and her party planning team put together something unique for each recipient. Lacey adds, “The most exciting part is for them to walk in the room, be surprised, and see their loved ones there, showering them with so much love.”
In addition, each episode has “a DIY aspect to it [so] you could try to recreate this and we show you ways to do that.” She especially loves this part as Lacey loves to throw a good party and entertain.
