1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Has Lost More Than 500 Pounds
Since first beginning her journey to slim down, Tammy Slaton has lost over 500 pounds. No matter who you are, this is an impressive number to lose on the scale. Based on the 1000-lb Sisters Season 6 preview, TLC cameras catch up with Tammy as she navigates this next, critical phase of her slimming journey.
As much as it is a major accomplishment to have lost as much weight as Tammy has, the loose skin left behind is becoming a real problem for her. She may be happy with her progress, but, Tammy wants the loose skin gone. Unfortunately for her, the process is a lot more delicate than one might think.
TLC Celeb Sees A Specialist In Season 6 Preview
Based on the latest TLC teasers for 1000-lb Sisters Season 6, Tammy goes to see a specialist regarding removing all of the loose skin she has been carrying around since she lost all of the weight. Unfortunately for the TLC celeb, she gets a few tough pills to swallow from the doctor.
According to the doc in 1000-lb Sisters Season 6 spoilers, Tammy has “head-to-toe loose skin.” The doctor went on to add that if Tammy does go forward with the skin removal process, the whole thing will take “several operations” and “several healing phases.”
1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Afraid She Won’t Get Approval For Skin Removal Surgery?
Even before you take into account the number of surgeries and the number of weeks or months it could take to completely heal, all of that is a moot point if you don’t get doctor approval for the skin removal process in the first place.
As longtime My 600-Lb Life viewers have seen, getting approval for skin removal surgery is not a quick fix. There are a number of different factors to consider before approving someone for the procedure or procedures.
In Tammy’s case, despite her impressive weight loss of over 500 pounds, she is concerned about not getting the approval she needs to go through with the process.
According to 1000-lb Sisters spoilers for Season 6 of the TLC show, Tammy says: “I’m afraid that I won’t get approved for skin removal.”
