Chrisley Knows Best fans have been speculating on the whereabouts of Julie Chrisley. The reality TV star has been listed as “not in BOP (Bureau of Prisons) custody” for several weeks now. No one in the BOP was willing to comment on where she was. Many people thought she’d been released early, while others thought she might be headed to a worse facility. The U.S. Marshalls have now confirmed Julie’s location. Continue reading to see what they revealed.

Julie Chrisley Is In U.S. Marshall Custody

The Bureau of Prisons previously released a statement about Julie Chrisley’s location when fans became concerned. They were not able to disclose much information due to safety concerns, but the BOP shared that her “not in custody” status could be due to a number of reasons. She could be in transit for court hearings, receiving medical treatment, or other circumstances.

Now, the United States Marshalls have confirmed that Julie Chrisley is now in their custody. She is currently being transported from FMC Lexington, where she has been serving her prison sentence, to Atlanta for court.

Julie is scheduled to appear in court for her resentencing hearing on September 25. Her request to attend the hearing remotely was denied and she has to attend court in person.

Chrisley Knows Best Star Could Be Home Next Year

It was reported that Julie’s sentence was vacated in July after evidence could not determine if she had any role in the crime that happened prior to 2007. Todd and Julie Chrisley, along with their accountant Peter Tarantino, were all found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and tax evasion.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison, with Todd receiving 12 and Julie receiving 7 years. They have since made attempts to appeal the court’s decision, resulting in a reduction of their sentences in September 2023. Todd would now serve 10 years and Julie would serve less than 6, before Julie’s sentence was thrown out.

It seems as though Julie Chrisley might be released from prison soon. In fact,  it could be as soon as the spring or summer of next year. The family’s lawyer Jay Surgent said that Julie might even be moved into a halfway house to serve out the rest of her sentence. This would allow her to be closer to her children, Grayson and Savannah Chrisley, as well as her granddaughter, Chloe Chrisley.

If Julie Chrisley is permitted to come home early, it would mean a lot to her family. Her daughter Savannah has been open about her parents’s journey through the judicial system. Recently, she shared that she has been having “vivid dreams” about her mom’s release. There is no doubt the reunion between mother and daughter would be emotional.

  1. I like how they say there could be a number of reasons she’s showing not in custody… One of those reasons could be that she decided to work with the government….

  2. when a prisoner is transferred to another location for court, etc., they pick up others along the way, regardless of where they are. If a person in Vermont needed to be Atlanta around the same time, they would drive to Vermont and get them also. It’s quite common for a 2 day road trip to take 9-10 days with the inmates sleeping at different jails along the way and eating MacDonald’s food while handcuffed the whole time… don’t even get me started on having to go to the bathroom. Naturally, they won’t post any info on their whereabouts until they get to their destination so nobody can “meet up with them” on the road and help them escape.

  3. why are they keeping her whereabouts such a secret?she’s a convicted felon that ripped people off why is she being treated like royalty you do the crime you do the time she’s just as guilty just like her husband

  4. OML. please just have a heart, ya she did wrong, but she’s a human, she makes mistakes also, I just pray people learn how to forgive other people, cause it can happen to any of us at anytime!!

  5. He who has not sinned cast the first stone. I see many who have done worse that are still living their best life with no consequences for their actions. I am not saying what they did isn’t wrong but it’s not our place to judge.
