Matt LeBlanc Unrecognizable Since Matthew Perry’s Death
Matthew Perry died last year of a drug overdose and drowning incident in his hot tub. Less than a year after his death, authorities arrested five individuals they believe were responsible for the actor’s death. At the same time, this has reopened wounds for his friends, including Matt LeBlanc from Friends.
LeBlanc was just seen out and about for the first time in months, and for many fans, he doesn’t look the same.
Matt LeBlanc Seen Out For First Time In Months
Photogs spotted Matt LeBlanc out in public on Friday. This was the first time he had been publically spotted in public in months and for many Friends fans, he was almost unrecognizable. He was walking outside a car showroom in Van Nuys.
LeBlanc was wearing a black t-shirt and dark-wash jeans. He also had on a blue baseball cap and Nike sneakers and sported the grey beard he has had for the last few years. LeBlanc, 57, has stayed mostly out of the public eye since Matthew Perry’s death last October.
This was the first time anyone had seen LeBlanc in public since the five arrests were made in connection with Perry’s death. Fans responded to how LeBlanc looked in several posts on X.
- “He has put on so much weight…hope he is fine…”
- “All I would have to say to him is “How you doing””
- “YES he has silver fox vibes”

Three of the five arrested individuals have already pleaded guilty to the charges against them. This includes a doctor who got the ketamine originally, the personal assistant who helped Perry obtain it and injected it into his boss, and the go-between that led Matthew to the “Ketamine Queen.”
The trial against Jasveen Sangha, the Ketamine Queen, and the doctor who allegedly sold the ketamine to Perry will happen in 2025. Both are accused of supplying the drugs that led to Perry’s death. Both have pleaded not guilty. However, the three who pleaded guilty are connected with these two, which will make the cases interesting to watch.
