Erika Jayne Gives ‘RHOBH’ Fans Surprising Love Life Update

During a recent chat with Two T’s and a Pod co-hosts Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne opened up about her relationship status.

RHOBH Star Erika Jayne Reveals Whether Or Not She Will Marry Again

Just days after her ex-husband, Tom Girardi, was found guilty of four counts of wire fraud, Erika doesn’t sound too hopeful that she will ever walk down the aisle again.

Erika began by saying there was little hope for her future since she had stopped dating seriously.

Then Teddi, known for her bluntness, dove right in and asked Erika if she saw herself getting married again.

“I don’t think so,” Erika said. “I don’t feel that that’s where I’m at.”

Erika had to put her successful music career on the back burner as she dealt with the legal drama surrounding her and Tom, who she divorced in 2020, and now she wants to focus on that instead of men.

“I have a lot of work to do, and I really just want to be successful on my own. I have, for the first time, my own thing,” Jayne said.

“For real, for real. And being a grown-up, you know? Like this isn’t being 20 and being married to your husband and having a child…this is Erika out on her own doing it, and it feels good.”

Erika Jayne No Longer Wants To ‘Pay’ The ‘Price’ Of Being With A Man

The RHOBH star has been very open about how she was controlled in her marriage to Tom, who was a successful attorney when they met. Fans of the show even saw it with their own eyes during his brief appearances on the show.

Erika said that being under someone else’s thumb is somewhere she never wants to find herself there again.

“I revolt…my personality changes,” she explained of other people trying to control her.

She also said that she is avoiding a relationship because a man would bring her down.

“I want to see what else I can do because, if you’re involved with a man, and certainly with a powerful man, there’s a price to pay. First off, any man,” Jayne said.

“Nothing is free in this world. And you know, the more powerful, the more wealthy, the more price.”

Her 85-year-old ex-husband was found guilty in late August of embezzling more than $15 million from his clients. While Erika was embroiled in the media storm surrounding Tom’s legal issues, she has never been charged.
