‘The Talk’ Hosts Say Farewell To Season With Special Song
The Talk hosts are preparing to say goodbye to the popular talk show and its final season with a very special song. There was no better way to start the farewell season than on a literal high note. So, how did the song go and what was the sentiment in the sendoff? Keep reading for all of the details.
The Talk Hosts Say Farewell To Season With Special Song
As The Talk enters its fifteenth season, it is very bittersweet. On one hand, it lasted a very long time but on the other, it is quite sad to have to say goodbye. They have a great team of hosts who have a lot of fun together so no one wants that to end. Sadly, they will be coming back together for one more shortened season to give the series its perfect sendoff. The show has been on since 2010, starting with original hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen Moonves, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Marisa Jaret Winokur, and Holly Robinson Peete.
It had been brought up with the idea that moms would be giving their opinions about daily news and headlines. Over the years, hosts began to rotate with Aisha Tyler, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, Marie Osmond, and Elaine Welteroth joining the series. Sharon Osbourne lasted the longest, leaving in 2021, and now, Sheryl Underwood has been with the talk show since 2011. Co-hosting with her are Jerry O’Connell, Amanda Kloots, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Natalie Morales, all of who joined in 2021. Now, the show is ending after a shortened Season 15 but not without a bang.

According to People, the co-hosts of The Talk will celebrate the new and final season with a musical number. The new season begins Monday, September 9th and that is when viewers will get to be a part of the fanfare. They will also get to see the musical number in its entirety. David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer) directed it and it’s to the tune of “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers.
Why Come Back?
Clearly, The Talk could have just ended with Season 14 but the goal was to “celebrate the show and give it the proper sendoff it deserves.” Upon seeing the celebratory intro, fans immediately headed to the comment section. They were thrilled but also saddened at the ending that was soon approaching:
- Aww.. always the loveliest of days!!!! Yay! 🫶🏻💜🙌🏻🤩
- OK, wait, I thought you guys were canceling the show? I really like you guys and hope you can stay on.
- I’ve been waiting & wondering 🙌🏼 when it was starting!😃🤗
- Yeah! Im@glad they did this to close y’all out. Unfair but thanks for projecting happiness z
Hopefully, this will be an amazing sendoff and fans will feel fulfilled when it is over. Or, they will get picked up by another network due to the demand.
