‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton’s Broken Down Home For Sale Amid Drug Arrest
As if getting arrested this week wasn’t enough, 1000-Lb. Sisters star, Amy Slaton, is now selling her shared home with Tammy Slaton. Keep reading to learn more about the home and the condition she left it in.
Amy Slaton sharing home shared with Tammy
During their time on 1000-Lb Sisters, Amy and Tammy spent much of their time living together in Kentucky, in a little brick duplex. Now, Amy is selling that duplex, and its accompanying homes, just days after getting arrested for drugs and child neglect. The listing for the house shows that the home went up for sale on Wednesday, two days after her arrest. Currently, she has the home listed for $69,000. However, it would seem the TLC star has left the home in less than desirable shape.
Not only does the house have incredibly overgrown grass, but the lawn is littered with trash. One window has boards over it, while the shrubbery is growing up the red, brick walls almost up to the roof. Despite all of that though, the description of the listing really makes it sound like an investor’s dream.
“Investment property on 1.24 acres with three houses,” the primary home is “a brick duplex with four beds, two baths, a new metal roof installed 4-6 years ago,” it says.
“Next door is a three bed, one bath brick home with 1,008 sq ft. In the corner of the lot is a 1 bed, 1 bath single-family home with 672 sq ft. With no zoning restrictions, this property offers great rental potential and flexibility. A solid investment opportunity with multiple living spaces and updates. Don’t miss out!”
The listing also boasts recent updates within the homes, even though these updates are not reflected in the photos of the outside.
However, the homes are currently listed as pending. You can view photos here.
What does Tammy say about her sister’s arrest?
Of course, after Amy’s arrest earlier this week, fans have been waiting to see what her sister, Tammy Slaton, has to say about it. Tammy finally broke her silence yesterday, however, she didn’t give a lot of insight on Amy. Instead, she quoted herself and made a motivational post.
“I’ve come so far on my journey, and there’s no turning back. Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress. I’m stronger, healthier, and more determined than ever to keep pushing toward my goals. 💪,” she continues. “Remember, setbacks don’t define us—they fuel us to keep going. We’re all capable of greatness, and I’m here to remind you that YOU CAN DO THIS. Stay focused, stay motivated, and let’s keep moving forward together! 🙌.”
It seems like fans will have to wait a bit longer if they want to hear Tammy actually speak out on Amy’s arrest. If she does speak out, that is.

What is Amy thinking? She keeps it up she could lose her boys. She needs to get back on track.I think Tammy has too much class to talk about her sisters arrest right now.
She rented there. She does not own that house.
Well, she cannot sell a house that she dosen’t own…so you must be mistaken!
All that money they made from this show and they still live like pigs. those kids deserve better.
“Do you think the timing of Amy Slaton selling this home is suspicious?” If you look at the listing, it was listed for sale more than a month before her arrest. Looking at the listing at local MLS that placed it would have shown you that. MHCBOR report #115261. Where is the editing oversight? Bully the overweight rural woman. Also, that grass is normal size and not overgrown for an average rural farmland residential lot, esp in August and September.
