‘The Valley’ Kristen Doute Engaged to Luke Broderick
The Valley stars Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are officially engaged after meeting at a wedding two years ago. They are all currently on a cast trip to Maui for Season 2 when Luke decided to pop the question. So, how did it happen and what does the ring look like? Keep reading for all of the details.

Kristen Doute’s romances have played out for the last decade on Bravo, starting with Vanderpump Rules. She was initially dating Tom Sandoval and they both lived together while working at SUR. That ended when it was revealed she had slept with his best friend, Jax Taylor so she ended up with busboy and aspiring DJ, James Kennedy. They were together for around a year when that fell apart and she played the field until she met Brian Carter on a dating app. That lasted for several years and, by her final reunion in Season 8, she was with Alex Menache.
Unfortunately, that also ended poorly and she was at a loss when she met Luke Broderick at a wedding. Kristen was not thinking anything of it as he lived in Colorado and she was based in California. They ended up trying the long-distance thing and it worked for them. The two began a podcast and he soon was cast alongside her on The Valley as they decided to start a family though he had no plans of relocating permanently. Kristen and Luke just headed to Maui for the Season 2 cast trip when he made it a tad more special.

According to Us Weekly, Luke popped the question earlier this week. They were on a boat when he told her to keep a lookout for dolphins. That was when he got down on one knee and broke out the ring which was designed with the help of Kyle Chan, who has been featured on Vanderpump Rules. It is a 14K white gold, 4.27-carat Emerald cut diamond. Additionally, there are a half-carat worth of diamonds on the band and a hidden halo

Though Kristen Doute has been in love before, she knew Luke Broderick was her person:
“I knew from the moment we met that Luke was my person. I am so excited to continue this journey together, now as fiancés.”
Some The Valley fans could not help but note how Brittany Cartwright just filed for divorce from Jax Taylor and now, Kristen is getting engaged. However, she received so much love from followers after the news broke of Luke’s proposal:
