Tammy Slaton Breaks Silence Amid Amy’s Arrest
It has been a rough week for 1000-Lb Sisters star, Amy Slaton. After keeping quiet all week, Tammy Slaton is finally breaking her silence amid Amy’s arrest. Keep reading to find out what she said.
Tammy Slaton breaks her silence
Reality TV star Tammy Slaton has been quiet ever since her sister, Amy, got arrested. The pair are known to be best friends and share the TLC reality show, 1000-Lb. Sisters. However, after Amy was supposedly bitten by a camel and then taken to jail for child neglect and possessing drugs, Tammy has remained quiet. Today, the star finally broke her silence. After taking to Instagram to share an inspirational post, some fans are saying Tammy could shape up to be an ‘awesome motivational speaker.’
‘No going backwards, only forward! 🚨,” Tammy starts her long post.
She continues with inspiring words about her journey and how everyone is ‘capable of greatness.’
“I’ve come so far on my journey, and there’s no turning back. Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress. I’m stronger, healthier, and more determined than ever to keep pushing toward my goals. 💪,” she continues. “Remember, setbacks don’t define us—they fuel us to keep going. We’re all capable of greatness, and I’m here to remind you that YOU CAN DO THIS. Stay focused, stay motivated, and let’s keep moving forward together! 🙌.”
Along with the long, inspirational caption, Tammy also shared a photo of a quote that she, herself, said in a TikTok not too long ago.
“It would be so easy to fall back in the bad habits and gain all the weight back. And then what was all this for?” the graphic reads.
As mentioned above, fans love the post Tammy shared and were sure to leave encouraging comments.
“Tammy I think you could shape up to be an awesome motivational speaker. I think people would really listen to you and you would speak to people without it sounding like preaching ❤️,” one person writes.

She’s not the only one posting during this time
Tammy isn’t the only sister of Amy’s to break her silence on social media. Tammy and Amy’s sister, Amanda, also shared a post on Facebook from 2019. Her post, however, was far less inspirational. Instead, she shared a post praying for a mom who needs help. In this case, that mom seems to be Amy.
Currently, Amy is undergoing an investigation to figure out where her children should go now that she has been charged with child neglect. She shares her two sons, Gage, 3, and Glenn, 2, with her ex-husband, Michael Halterman. The pair got divorced in March 2023, just months after their second son was born.
The star now seems to be cozy with a new man, however, he was arrested with her.
