After getting fired from Vanderpump Rules in 2020, Stassi Schroeder is speaking up about her overall experience on the show and it’s clear that she’s happy she’s gone.

Vanderpump Rules Took A Toll On Stassi

In a recent interview, Stassi revealed that the Bravo series took a major toll on her mental health. She even went to therapy after her departure. The reality star also didn’t hesitate slamming her former friend group for how they treated her.

“I don’t want to be around people who are one minute smiling at you and the next minute stabbing you in the back. I don’t want my children around that or seeing that,” she ranted. This sounds like a reference to the infamous betrayal scandal when Brittany Cartwright revealed that she slept with Jax Taylor, Schroeder’s now ex.

Stassi was canned from the show after an alleged racist incident against Faith Stowers. Kristen Doute was also fired for the same allegations, but returned to VPR seasons later for Scandoval.

Stassi Was Supposed To Be In The Valley

Schroeder also doubled down on her claim that despite Bravo letting her go from Vanderpump, the network asked her to come back for a role in The Valley.

It’s obvious that she turned it down, and in her explanation as to why, she threw some shade to the show’s current cast, which includes Brittany and Jax.

Stassi explained that attempting to stay relevant on the spin-off didn’t work for her. “No one wants to see, hear, watch, or read the same thing over and over. So taking a break and not being relevant is powerful-just like saying no,” she quipped.

Bravo still hasn’t confirmed whether or not they actually asked her to come back for the show.

Her Reality TV Comeback Is Coming Soon

The reality star is making her comeback to TV soon since it has been announced that she will be joining Lisa in heading Vanderpump Villa Season 2.

Schroeder is also getting a spin-off series of her own, called Stassi Says. It’s unclear whether or not any of her former VPR co-stars will be joining her on her show. So far, none of them have publicly congratulated her on the news.

Making a return to TV is shocking since she admitted in the same interview that reality TV drove her insane. “I love reality TV. Even through all of the sh-t, how it makes you a psychopath, how it’s not good for your mental health, I still enjoy doing it,” she gushed.

There isn’t a release date for either show yet, but they are both set to come to Hulu.
