On Thursday night, at the World’s Biggest Tailgate Party, the Hallmark Channel showed the First Look Video for its upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
This movie stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. They play Alana and Derrick. Alana’s family is obsessed with the Chiefs. Her goal is to win Fan of The Year for her family for Christmas. The good news is that her family is one of the three finalists. In comes Derrick. He is from the front office for the NFL team. His job is to determine the winner. Does Alana’s family have what it takes? From the moment they meet, Derrick and Alana are attracted to each other.
Everything seems dreamy and fun. That is until Alana’s grandfather’s antique Chiefs hat goes missing. Now Alana wonders if there is good luck or even love. However, a Hail Mary! and some Christmas magic come in to save the day.

Subsequently, what happens in this First Look? Firstly, it is evening, and Alana is dressed up in a glittery dress with her dark trench coat over it. Derrick is bringing her into Arrowhead Stadium to experience the empty Arrowhead Stadium in the evening. Here is where the magic happens! Next, they hold candy canes and create a heart from each part.
Next, everyone has been expecting Mama Kelce, and she does not disappoint! She is wearing an 87 Chiefs jersey. She seemingly winks at Derrick, as she plays “Donna” the manager of the Kansas City BBQ restaurant Norma & Nic’s.
Donna Kelce is not the only special cameo in this movie. Other well-known faces include Jenna Bush Hager, Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Christine Ebersole, Richard Christie, Richard Riehle, and Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid. Of course, there is Catrick Mahomes and a cornucopia of Chiefs players.
