Anna Delvey Demands Apology, Tells Whoopi Goldberg ‘Stay Nasty’
The new Dancing With The Stars cast list is out, but not everyone is excited to watch this year. After DWTS revealed con artist Anna Delvey would compete, many expressed outrage online.
News spread quickly and the stars of The View also had some pretty strong opinions. Joy Behar even joked they should rename the show, “Dancing With The Felons.”
However, Delvey didn’t appreciate what they said about her on The View. Now, she’s clapping back at the hosts and demanding they get their facts straight.
The View Hosts Slam Dancing With The Stars & Anna Delvey
After confirming her involvement with DWTS, Anna Delvey confirmed she has special permission from ICE to compete. However, The View took serious issue with that. Whoopi Goldberg thought it was incredibly unfair the agency granted her such a privileged opportunity while so many others are suffering.
“I think back to all the families who’ve had family members arrested by ICE, who have gone to the courts to get their dad or their brother or their mother back, and this woman, they gave her permission to go do this?” the actress shared in a recent episode. “Is there a two-tiered system with ICE?”

Many viewers agreed and echoed similar sentiments in the comments. Several viewers suggested Anna Delvey got off easy because she’s white and beautiful.
The Fraudster Calls The View Hosts ‘Nasty’
Anna Delvey is no stranger when it comes to dealing with haters and critics. However, she does want them to have the correct information.
“She still owes people money. I don’t understand why she gets to stay [in the US]!” Whoopi Goldberg declared on The View.
However, this may not be entirely accurate. Although Anna Delvey managed to scam wealthy people out of around $250,000, she reportedly managed to pay most of it back.
Delvey took issue with what was said on The View and demanded an apology.
“While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight. I served my time and paid everyone back in full three-plus years ago. Looking forward to your on-air correction. Stay nasty ladies, but don’t forget to vote September 17th!” Anna Delvey said in an official statement to Page Six.
The Season 33 premiere kicks off on September 17, marking the first-night viewers can vote for their favorite contestants.
