In the second The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription, Jane continues to head her family’s foundation which is a non-profit detective agency set up to help those who cannot help themselves. What happens in this new Jodie Sweetin and Stephen Huszar movie?
According to the synopsis, Sandra Shea (Beth Hornby) needs Jane’s help. Her son Ryan is accused of murdering a local pharmacist. However, Sandra insists her son Ryan is innocent. Because Jane feels a personal connection, she gets Detective John Cameron and her Aunt Sadie (Paris Jefferson) to sort out the evidence.
It turns out that the evidence is not to be trusted. That questionable evidence includes witnesses that are missing, as well as false confessions. Moreover, Jane and John find some buried secrets which prove Ryan is innocent. But, can they prove who is hiding the truth?
