Even though the show did its best to build drama, there was no question in anyone’s mind that Mitch would choose Sydney Errera in the end.
Right out of the gate, Sydney stepped onto Mitchell Kolinsky’s farm as the most capable farmhand. This is something that Mitchell and the other farmers desperately needed, someone who was a good fit for the farming lifestyle. It turns out, when you’re in the arts in Tennessee, the degrees of separation between you and a country star become less and less. This is exactly what happened to Mitchell, too. He eventually got the opportunity to sing with Dean Dillon’s daughter.
In addition to penning hits of his own, Dillon is well-known as a songwriter for others, too. Perhaps one of the most famous songs he ever wrote was Tennessee Whiskey, a song that Chris Stapleton brought to a new generation of listeners.
