‘DWTS’ Joey Graziadei Reacts To Competing Against Jenn Tran
Dancing With The Stars Season 33 will feature two competitors from Bachelor Nation. The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei will face off against The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran.
The pair met during Joey’s season and eliminated her just before hometowns. So how will they feel about going head to head in the ballroom?
Joey Graziadei Talks Competing Against Jenn Tran
This is the first time in DWTS history that two Bachelor Nation leads will compete against each other. Most seasons feature at least one figure from Bachelor Nation. Two has never been done before.
Jenn is competing with Season 32 finalist Sasha Farber while Joey is paired with Jenna Johnson.
Thankfully, it doesn’t appear there is any bad blood between Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran. A little friendly competition is always healthy, but Joey mostly felt glad to see Jenn. When he learned she would be part of the season, he ran to greet her.
“I saw her earlier today. Obviously, she came in last-minute, but I got to say hello and give her a hug,” the 29-year-old told Us Weekly. “We’re just, like I said, excited to get this thing going.”
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, DWTS cast Jenn at the last moment. According to Us Weekly, the invitation came right after she left the stage crying during her season finale of The Bachelorette. Many fans believe it’s the least ABC could do after how poorly Jenn’s finale went.
The Bachelor Lead Feels Excited To Join This Season
Dancing With The Stars isn’t always kind to Bachelor Nation relationships. However, Joey Graziadei feels that he and Kelsey Anderson can withstand anything.
“She’s been so supportive,” Joey said of his fiancee. “She actually really pushed for me to do this, [and] we’re just gonna enjoy this time. It’s actually nice to slow it down a little bit and be in the same place. And, yeah, we’re gonna enjoy L.A. and just see what it’s like here for a little bit.”
“I’m really excited about his ability,” his partner Jenna chimed in. “He’s not a dancer, but he can really pick it up and he’s so smart that he can process what I’m saying, and I’m really excited.”
“My sister watches the show and she was hoping I was gonna be with Jenna,” The Bachelor star added. “So when I found that out, I couldn’t wait.”

Jenna Johnson has made it to the finale several times in recent years. Her husband Val Chmerkovskiy is the reigning champion. If anyone can teach Joey to dance, it’s Jenna.
