‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Ryan Seacrest’s Shocking Salary, Double Pat Sajak’s?
Ryan Seacrest has been on television for over 30 years. In that time, he has had several successful ventures, including hosting American Idol and his radio show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.” Each one has earned him a substantial amount of money. Now, he’s embarking on a new adventure as the host of Wheel Of Fortune. So, how much is Ryan going to make after taking Pat Sajak’s place? Keep reading to find out.
Ryan Seacrest Has Racked Up Millions
There is no doubt that Ryan Seacrest has worked hard over the years. He made his television debut in 1993. In 2002, he started hosting American Idol, which was a career-changing move.
On top of hosting American Idol, he has worked as a radio personality, producer, entrepreneur, and TV host for other shows. The 49-year-old has racked up a significant amount of wealth throughout his career.
Ryan Seacrest’s net worth sits at an estimated $450 million.
Fans may remember when Ryan worked on E! News as a reporter. He covered a number of high-profile red-carpet events. In 2002, he landed the hosting job on American Idol, which earns him an impressive $12 million per year.
Then, in 2006, he launched his own production company. Ryan Seacrest Productions famously produced Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which was E!’s longest-running reality television show.
Ryan Seacrest took Dick Clark’s spot hosting “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” That job earned him $1 million per year. He also co-hosted Live With Kelly and Ryan for several years, where he brought in an additional $15 million annually. Not to mention, he also hosts “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.”
How Much Will Ryan Make On Wheel Of Fortune?
His latest move is going to earn him some serious cash too. In June 2023, it was announced that Ryan Seacrest would take over the hosting duties from Pat Sajak on Wheel Of Fortune. As the new host, Ryan is going to be raking in $28 million per year.
That’s almost twice what Pat Sajak was earning on the game show. Pat reportedly earned $15 million per season of Wheel Of Fortune.
The $28 million annual salary is on top of all of Ryan’s other work.
The new Wheel Of Fortune host has made money outside of the entertainment industry as well. He reportedly bought Ellen Degeneres’ home and flipped it, earning $14.5 million in profit.
On top of that, he has also acted as a spokesperson for different brands. He is currently the face of the brand Casa Dragones tequila. The Wheel Of Fortune host is also a spokesperson for Health-Ade kombucha and PATH, a refillable bottled water. Ryan’s even launched his own skincare line and a clothing line called Seacrest Style.
More recently, Ryan revealed that he is delving into the art of wine-making. He has also started making his own brand of olive oil. What can’t he do?
Being able to keep his business portfolio diverse has helped him rack up millions and undoubtedly helped him negotiate his salary on Wheel.
