‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Ryan Seacrest & Vanna White Beg For Help
Wheel Of Fortune hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White found themselves in a tight spot recently. The pair visited the Santa Monica Pier for a promotional event for the game show. While they were there, something unexpected happened that had them begging for help. Keep reading to see what had them panicking.
Ryan Seacrest & Vanna White Get Stuck At Promo Event
Ryan and Vanna hit the West Coast to promote the upcoming season of Wheel Of Fortune. The Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel was lit up to look like the wheel from the popular game show.
In a post on Instagram, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White counted down to the Ferris wheel lighting up. The caption read, “Santa Monica Pier’s got that Wheel of Fortune glow. Ryan & Vanna lit up the iconic Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel tonight in celebration of the new season, premiering Sept. 9!”
The new Wheel Of Fortune host shared some clips on his Instagram Story. In the videos, he took followers along with him as he met Vanna on the pier.
As he approached his co-host, he joked, “Vanna White, I heard you were gonna be here. I was just listening to the radio.” They hugged and greeted each other. However, the next clip was a bit more worrisome.
Ryan, Vanna, and WOF Social Correspondent Maggie Sajak were all inside a movie trailer. Vanna and Maggie both seemed to be struggling with the door on the trailer while Ryan hung back and filmed what was happening.
Wheel Of Fortune‘s Vanna White Saves The Day
“Alright, so we’re here at the Ferris wheel at the pier, but we’re locked in,” Ryan said in the clip. “We can’t get out. We’re stuck!” The ladies both looked concerned as they frantically knocked on the window.
Several people on the pier heard them and Ryan Seacrest shouted out, “We’re locked in!” Joking with Vanna White as she struggled with the door, he said, “Vanna, you have the magic touch, as always.”
The beloved Wheel Of Fortune co-host continued to try and get the door open. After about a minute, she was able to get it unlocked. Maggie Sajak let out a squeal and Ryan said, “Vanna White to the rescue.” Thankfully, it didn’t prevent any of them from getting to the promo event.

As fans know, Ryan Seacrest is taking over for Pat Sajak on Wheel Of Fortune in Season 41.
A Reel on Instagram showed Ryan on the renovated stage. Viewers have gotten a glimpse of the new puzzle board and other changes on the set in recent weeks. In the clip, Ryan pointed to the wheel behind him. He said, “Let’s take this thing for a spin.”
Fans will get to see Ryan in action in just eight short days. Season 41 of Wheel Of Fortune kicks off on September 9.
