In the wake of Artem Chigvintsev’s domestic violence arrest, fans have been incredibly worried for the health and safety of his wife, Nikki Garcia.
The mental scars from the situation may trouble Nikki for some time. But thankfully, she appeared to be physically well when spotted by the paparazzi today.
On top of that, fans wonder if she’s moving forward with her life as a single woman. She was spotted in public without her wedding ring, signaling her marriage may be truly over.
Nikki Garcia Boards A Private Plane With No Wedding Ring
As TV Shows Ace previously shared, Nikki Garcia (formerly known as Nikki Bella) broke her silence and asked for privacy as her family navigated this difficult situation. Since then, she still hasn’t shared details with the public. But she did seem to make a statement by going out without her wedding ring.
TMZ reports that Nikki Garcia was spotted in public for the first time since her husband’s arrest this week. All eyes were allegedly on her ring finger, which appeared to be bare.
A person might go without their wedding ring for a wide range of reasons, but the timing seems incredibly telling to those following the situation. Nikki and Artem just celebrated their second wedding anniversary before his arrest. On the day of the special occasion, both appeared to be in happy spirits, posting sweet tributes to each other online.
Leaving for a public event without the ring seems to indicate she’s moving forward without him. TMZ reports she was boarding a private plane in Oakland, likely headed to Las Vegas.

The Pair Tried Couples Counseling Prior To Artem’s Arrest
Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia married in 2022. But before that, they lived together for a time and even welcomed a son together.
Back in 2021, Nikki shared they were in couples counseling. Communication had been incredibly difficult between the two and they never seemed to be on the same page.
“I would be lying to say, ‘Oh, it’s great.’ It has definitely been a struggle for us,” the former wrestler told Us Weekly at the time. “It’s hard. We have so many ups and downs. It’s been so difficult on our relationship because I need so much from him, but he’s, like, torn between his job that requires so much from him and then us at home.”
After Artem’s arrest, TMZ reported that those closest to the couple weren’t entirely shocked by the news. The pair had explosive arguments often, though this seemed to be the first time the fight turned physical.
