‘Mama June’ Josh Efird Not Well Amid Divorce From Pumpkin
Mama June: Family Crisis star Josh Efird is not doing well amid his divorce from Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird. He has reposted videos on TikTok about sadness and wishing things could be different. More so, it appears he is reminiscing but what else is going on with the father of four? Keep reading for more details.
Mama June Josh Efird Not Well Amid Divorce From Pumpkin
Josh Efird and Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird were together for almost a decade and married for six years. They appeared to be happy with one another, even welcoming four children. More so, they helped raised Pumpkin’s sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, and seemed to do it effortlessly. Unfortunately, something changed and when Anna Cardwell passed away, Josh was very worried for Pumpkin’s mental health. He was scared she would not recover but by April 2024, she was allegedly hooking up with his cousin, Darrin Kitchens. This was after Darrin and Josh’s grandmother passed and it may have been the breaking point for the couple.
Darrin and Pumpkin have been flaunting their romance all over social media including a family trip to Las Vegas. It has not been easy for anyone to watch especially with Mama June chiming in. Plus, fans are worried about Josh and how he is doing. Is he handling this okay or are they rubbing it all in his face? A Reddit thread was started to address Josh’s TikTok reposts and how sad and depressing they truly are:

As aforementioned, Josh Efird is clearly displaying his sadness via reposts and wearing his heart on his sleeve. Did any other followers feel for him?

Of course, some faithful Mama June viewers were not so sympathetic.
This Is What He Deserves
As much as fans are worried about Josh Efird especially with Pumpkin and Darrin Kitchens throwing the relationship in his face, some have no empathy. They brought up past events where Josh was less than kind and showed a very cruel side to himself:

This is just my opinion, but I don’t feel bad for him. He told his son he’d beat the breath out of him. So screw him.
- That dude is a terrible father at best and an abuser at worst. I personally don’t care how he feels.
- It’s hard to summon up any sympathy for this family, outside of Anna & Lauryn’s kids.
So, it looks like the Internet may be divided over Josh but he is clearly not doing okay. Hopefully, he will get some help so he can be the best father possible to Ella, Bentley, Sylus, and Stella.
