Dancing With The Stars fans are still reeling from the shocking news of Artem Chigvintsev’s arrest earlier this week. He was booked on one charge of domestic violence. Bachelorette Charity Lawson was paired with the professional dancer on Season 32. See her reaction to the arrest.
Latest On DWTS Pro’s Arrest
Artem Chigvintsev is one of the most popular pro dancers on Dancing With The Stars. He joined the show in Season 18 as part of the troupe. He returned the next season and was paired with Back to the Future star Lea Thompson.
The Russian native met his wife, WWE star Nikki Bella (now Nikki Garcia,) when they were paired on the show in Season 25. They welcomed a son, Matteo, who is now four. Their son was reportedly present during the domestic violence incident. New details emerged about the domestic violence incident in the hours after news of his arrest broke.
But nothing new has come out since yesterday. Cheryl Burke is the only Dancing With The Stars dance to speak out about the arrest.

His future with DWTS is up in the air after his arrest, though the show did confirm that he wasn’t asked back for Season 33 prior to his arrest. His last celebrity partner was Bachelorette Charity Lawson last season. They came in fourth place.
She took to her Instagram to seemingly react to her former partner’s arrest. Charity shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram Story about consequences.
“Sometimes, the most kind and mature thing you can do is let someone face the consequences of their actions instead of letting your empathy impede that process.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe Also Worked With Artem
Before Charity Lawson, Artem Chigvintsev was dance partners with Bachelor Nation’s Kaitlyn Bristowe. They won Season 29. Kaitlyn recently said that hosting DWTS is her dream job.
The Season 11 Bachelorette has yet to address Artem’s arrest. However, she did warn Charity Lawson about his demanding behavior on the DWTS set.

I don’t think he is capable of harming his wife. the way he looks at her and from watching the reality show. but then again we can’t know what goes on behind closed doors. I how they can work it out they do seem to love each other.
