‘The View’ Announces Who Will Return For Season 28
Fans of The View have been eagerly awaiting the return of the talk show. A teaser trailer for Season 28 dropped this week and confirmed which of the six ladies will be returning. Here is what was revealed.
Who Is Returning To The View For Season 28?
Viewers have been watching reruns of the talk show for a few weeks as the hosts of the show soak up the last bit of summer. The talk show typically takes a break at the end of the summer before kicking off a new season.
It was revealed earlier this year that The View would be changing locations. With a fresh new studio, many people were wondering if all the same cast members would return.
Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin will all be returning for Season 28 of The View.
The show shared a post on Instagram giving viewers a look inside the new studio and a glimpse of the beloved hosts. In the caption they wrote, “The topics will be hot! Our all-new season premieres this Tuesday on ABC at 11 AM Eastern/10 AM Central/Pacific.”
ABC will be keeping a close eye on ratings for The View this season. Both the ladies on the show and the audience are aging, but moving to a new location and seeing the return of all six hosts is likely a good sign.
Fans rushed to the comments to express their excitement for a new season. One fan wrote, “Can’t wait to see Whoopi, Sara, Alyssa, and Ana!!” Another commented, “Yippee!! Can’t wait for my ladies to return!! I miss you all!!”
A third fan chimed in, “I’m always a bit sad when the view is on a break haha…can’t wait to get back to hot topics w you ladies.”
Sara Haines Opened Up About Eating Disorder Struggles
While many of the ladies on The View took time off to recharge, Sara Haines hasn’t slowed down one bit. She has been doing interviews and staying active during their hiatus.
Sara sat down with Erin Washington, a body image coach, to speak about some of the struggles she’s experienced with self-love.
There is no doubt Sara Haines has accomplished a lot in her career. After all, she has a seat on The View. On Erin’s podcast “thErinpy,” she dove into some of the problems she had before appearing on the talk show.
During her childhood, Sara struggled with an eating disorder. At one point, her mother pointed out how a pair of shorts she was wearing made her look “big.” After that, she started starving herself and wound up with a “major eating disorder.”
Eventually, her volleyball coach approached her about her declining performance and asked about her eating habits. She told Sara that she couldn’t play well and diet so seriously. This became the moment that turned things around for her. She knew she didn’t want to give up her performance in sports.
Now, she talks about her experiences and therapy in hopes that she’ll be able to help someone else.
Sara Haines and the rest of the ladies return to The View next week. Tune in on ABC on weekdays at 11 a.m. EST.
