Matthew Perry’s Ex-Girlfriend Claims He Was Terrified Of Needles
The investigation into Matthew Perry’s death has resulted in five arrests. Three people have pleaded guilty already, and two are still being charged. The entire accusation is that they helped illegally supply him with the ketamine that he had injected into himself, leading to his death. However, his ex-girlfriend says this makes no sense to her.

Matthew Perry’s Ex-Girlfriend Says He Was Scared Of Needles
Matthew Perry’s ex-girlfriend and former assistant Kayti Edwards spoke out about his death and how the ketamine shocked her. According to the criminal reports, people allegedly injected Perry with ketamine at least 21 times in the final weeks of his life. This, however, does not sound right to Kayti.
According to Kayti, 47, Perry had a massive fear of needles. She said that he would never inject himself with anything because he feared fateful consequences. “Matthew always, always told me that he would never, ever, use needles or inject anything into his body. He didn’t even want to have tattoos,” Kayti said (via The Mirror).
Kayti said that she would see him doing a lot of different drugs while she was with him, and she would get scared. She said she begged him to stop mixing things, but he reportedly told her, “You only die when you use needles…and I would never, ever, ever do that.”
Kayti began dating Perry in 2006 and then began working as his assistant in 2011. Despite no longer dating or working together, they remained friends until his death last year.
How Does This Effect Matthew Perry’s Death Investigation?
“When I heard that he let his assistant do it, I just couldn’t understand, especially as he had no medical training,” Kayti said. His last assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, causing death, and admitted to repeatedly injecting Perry with ketamine without medical training.
Kayti then had one big question. Where were all the drugs and paraphernalia? None were found at his house. She said, “I always stayed with Matthew if he was taking drugs as I didn’t want him to OD , or anything to happen.” She asked why Kenneth left after injecting Matthew.
At this time, it seems the three people who pleaded guilty might see lesser penalties, as they are likely turning over evidence and testimony against the other two. Salvador Plasencia pleaded not guilty, but prosecutors charged him with illegally selling Perry the ketamine and showing Kenneth how to inject it.
Jasveen Sangha, known as the Ketamine Queen, also pleaded not guilty. The charges against her claim she sold Perry the drugs over the last weeks of his life, including what he used before his death.
