‘Young & Restless’ Fans Worried Faith Is Leaving Show
Fans are worried that Faith (portrayed by Reylynn Caster) is leaving The Young and the Restless. She was involved in a car accident with Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) in a recent episode of the soap and viewers think this could be it for her character. Here is what we know so far and what Young & Restless fans can expect.
What Happened To Faith After The Car Crash?
Honestly, fans have been awaiting this moment for several months. Lucy became absolutely obsessed with Faith. The scenario is a familiar one. Fans will remember that a similar situation unfolded with Cassie (Camryn Grimes) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
Cassie was head over heels in love with Daniel, who was much older. Ultimately, her obsession with Daniel led to her death. This storyline has been highlighted recently as Sharon (Sharon Case) has been addressing her mental health.
Following the car crash involving Faith, Young & Restless fans have been reminded of the incident with Cassie. Sharon, Daniel, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have all been reminded of the heartbreaking event as well.
So, is history repeating itself with Faith and Lucy? The soap has been hinting that Lucy’s obsession with Faith would come to a head soon. Will it end in her death?
Young & Restless Spoilers Reveal Faith’s Fate
Spoilers have revealed that Lucy will have a serious heart-to-heart conversation with Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom). That means that Lucy escaped from the car accident without being seriously injured.
It seems like Faith may get out of the accident unscathed as well. Young & Restless just went through an entire storyline where Faith needed a kidney transplant after driving drunk.
So, it doesn’t seem like Faith is leaving the CBS soap yet. The writers have been playing on the similarities between the two incidents, but they aren’t planning on history repeating itself necessarily. Faith will leave to return to college soon, but she won’t be gone long.
Other spoilers hint at Faith’s return to Genoa City as Sharon’s mental health continues to deteriorate.
When it comes to Lucy’s future on the show, she has definitely gotten herself into some trouble with the accident. When Heather, Sharon, Nick, and Daniel find out that she was drinking and driving, they will be livid.
It isn’t clear whether or not the car crash will turn Lucy around. Young & Restless writers might make the accident a wake-up call for the teen. However, it could only increase her obsession with being Faith’s friend.
Either way, this storyline is far from over. Fans will have to wait and see what happens with Faith and Lucy.
