Earlier this month, Michael took to social media to ask for help after Angela filed for annulment. The 90 Day Fiance star wants to prove his innocence and fight back against his estranged wife. He even made a video clarifying that his GoFundMe link is not a scam and even admits that he had second thoughts about asking for financial help because he’s not that kind of person.
Michael quickly exceeded his $25,000 goal to over $40,000. However, many were puzzled when he filed for spousal support, meaning that he could take half of Angela’s assets. This made some fans skeptical about his motives.
Michael’s Attorney To Summon Todd?
According to reports, Michael Ilesanmi’s attorney plans to subpoena Angela Deem’s private investigator, Todd. It’s a process in which the attorney summons the PI and gets asked multiple questions to help with the case. During the HEA Tell-All, Todd said that he didn’t find anything suspicious about Michael, adding that he has hundreds of pages containing evidence to prove his innocence. This could be used against Angela Deem, who claims her husband is a scammer and committed marriage fraud. A 90 Day Fiance fan page even made a comic template about what may happen at the court. It shows Michael and his lawyer turning the tables against Angela for using her PI against her.

Michael Ilesanmi has a strong relationship with his lawyer, Andrea M. Johnson. The two have shared photos and clips about their meetings online. Last week, the 90 Day Fiance star shared a fun clip with his lawyer making a recipe moments after their discussion. It was uploaded by a cooking fan page saying, “Contrary to popular belief, We didn’t cook legal documents on this day. We had a lovely time with @mykol_01 eating and gisting. Michael is truly a calm and correct guy.”
