The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres on Hulu next week. Fans are eager to see the women from #MomTok on the screen. And one even has familial ties to actor Ben Affleck.

Without a doubt, this new reality series is going to be marked by drama and salaciousness. As the attention on the women escalates, so do their paychecks.

In a new interview, two of the Mormon Wives stars opened up about their ability to earn as influencers.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Stars Support Their Families Through Social Media

Mormon Wives stars Whitney Leavitt and Mayci Neeley recently opened up about the massive payouts that come with internet fame. After building their brands on TikTok and establishing brand deals, they’ve managed to build an empire in the #MomTok space.

But how much do they actually earn?

“It’s hard because each year is different,” Whitney recently shared with E! News. “You could get a really big brand deal like, ‘Hey, we want to have like a six-month contract with you,’ and then next year you don’t get it at all. It varies drastically.”

Whitney added that one of her biggest deals was for $20,000 to promote a sex toy online. But she and Mayci have both had enormous partnerships.

“We both have gotten one—we can’t say what it was—but we’ve gotten a deal that was $75,000 one year,” Maychi chimed in. The women added that their contracts also vary from industry to industry.

Did The Swinging Scandal Have An Impact On Their Brands?

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives does follow the influencers on #MomTok. But the series will also reportedly tackle the swinging scandal that rocked the community a few years ago. But according to Mayci and Whitney, the scandal didn’t impact their personal brands much.

“If anything it just gave us more publicity to be honest with you,” Whitney revealed.

“It’s kind of a mix though,” Mayci shared her own thoughts. “I threw an event for my business launch that I did on the show and I had a couple of vendors that almost pulled out because they’re like, ‘Wait, are you in that swinging stuff?’ So, I think reputation-wise would took a little bit of a hit, but income-wise I don’t think it really affected us too much.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres on Hulu starting on September 6. Will you be watching? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments.
