Lindsay Arnold likely isn’t returning to Dancing With The Stars anytime soon. However, she’s still heavily invested in the competition. The long-running series still has a piece of her heart. On top of that, she’s hoping to see many of her old friends, as well as her younger sister Rylee Arnold, compete.

But which celebrities does she think deserve an invite?

Lindsay Arnold Thinks This Will Be A Season Full Of Athletes

Lindsay Arnold never officially retired from Dancing With The Stars. However, she’s focused on motherhood right now. Her daughters Sage and June keep her busy, but she’s always excited to keep up with the show that skyrocketed her to fame.

Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik was the first celebrity named to the Season 33 cast list. But more than likely, other Olympians will join him. As for Lindsay Arnold, there are several athletes she would love to see join the competition.

“Sage and I were so locked in on the Olympics this season that I feel like Sage has some favorites that she wants to see out there, especially from gymnastics,” the dancer shared with Parade. “She was glued to the gymnastics. I think seeing Jordan Chiles would be so cool. And then another Olympian that I think would be amazing, I love following her on social media, is Ilona Maher. She was the rugby player. I just love her whole energy.”

And of course, there will be reality television stars. DWTS frequently recruits members of Bachelor Nation for the competition. But who will the casting department ask this year?

“I actually didn’t watch The Bachelor or Bachelorette. I’m so disappointed in myself,” Lindsay continued. “I used to be die-hard every single week. Obviously, because life is crazy, I don’t get to watch TV very much anymore. But I think Joey Graziadei, from what I hear, a lot of people really loved Joey, so I think he could be really fun on the show.”

The Dancer Acknowledges It’s Tough For Celebrities To Nail The Moves

Celebrity contestants have a wide range of skills when they join Dancing With The Stars. As a seasoned pro, Lindsay Arnold admits it can often be difficult for celebrities to get the hang of it.

“I think the hardest part is understanding the correlation between your brain and your body,” the Season 25 champion explained. “I think as humans, most of the time we’re just going about our day. But I’m not thinking, ‘Move my arms up. Take a step forward, take a step backward, sit down, stand up.’ Those things just happen. They fire off super quick. But when it comes to somebody who’s never learned choreography before, getting those motions to fire quickly is one of the hardest things.”
