CCB & Cameron Mathison Filming Different GAF Movie
On Wednesday, The Futon Critic shared a press release from Great American Family. This was to announce a new Christmas movie for Cameron Mathison and Candace Cameron Bure entitled Home Sweet Christmas.
In this movie, CCB portrays Sophie Marlow. She is a “successful mergers and acquisitions attorney. After her uncle passed, she considered Waynesbridge, Washington home. That is because her late Uncle Henry left Sophie 60 percent ownership in Marlow Maple Meadows. This is “a sprawling patch of sugar maple forest.”
“Though Sophie hasn’t been on the property in decades, she immediately begins retracing the happy steps of her youth before encountering Sam, her long-lost, childhood friend.”
“Sam has returned to the farm after learning Henry left him the other 40 percent of the property. The legacy property means a quick Salle is likely, though Sophie and Sam will discover neither of them is ready to let go yet.”
When Will GAF Premiere Candace Cameron Bure’s New Movie?
Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison’s new Christmas movie Home Sweet Christmas will be part of the Great American Christmas 2024 movies. However, the network has not shared a premiere date yet.
Candace Cameron Bure & GH Star Switched Movies
The big surprise about the new announcement is that back in July, GAF announced that Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison were getting ready to film Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. However, the network revealed that this movie will “not go into production in 2024.”
Mathison had shared in interviews that they were to start production on the original movie in late July, filming into early August. But, there is no explanation for why the network did not make this major shift.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, CCB and Cameron Mathison were on the Full House star’s Instagram. They revealed that this was day one of filming their new movie Home Sweet Christmas. Again, they did not offer an explanation as to why there was a delay.
Did Cameron Mathison Divorce Announcement Cause Delay?
In between the Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells and Home Sweet Christmas announcements, Cameron Mathison and Vanessa Mathison announced they were getting divorced after 22 years of marriage. Could this have caused the change?
Not likely. They changed the entire movie. This is not a title change. This is now an entirely new movie.
