Adam Sandler is one of the biggest stars on the planet, with countless hit movies to his name. Even so, it seems his daughters are concerned for their famous dad’s health. So, what’s going on with the actor and comedian that has his daughters so concerned?

When moviegoers think of some of the greatest comedy films ever made, Adam Sandler is right up there with the best to ever do it. Whether it’s writing, producing, or starring in these films, Sandler has done it all over the years. Along the way, he has put together an impressive body of work.
In 2014, Adam Sandler signed a four-picture deal with streaming giant Netflix for $250M. If that were not lucrative enough, that deal was renewed in 2017 and again in 2020. That big score with Netflix made Sandler the highest-paid actor in 2023.
According to Forbes, Sandler took home a cool $73M in 2023, putting him at the top of the list. Margot Robbie came in second with $59M. So, there was quite a big gap between first and second place.
Sandler’s Daughters Worry About Dad’s Health
Based on the latest reports, even with all of that money in the bank, it seems Adam Sandler’s daughters are concerned about their dad’s health.
Speaking to PEOPLE about his daughters laying down the law and getting after him, Sandler said: “They always look out for me and my health just like I used to with my dad. You go, ‘Man, I want this guy around,’ so I used to scream at my dad to quit smoking, and my kids scream at me to just calm down and try to eat a little more like a normal person.”

Happy Gilmore Actor Slacking On Workout Routine?
The Happy Gilmore actor has been candid about letting his workout routine slide over the years. Sandler has always been a basketball fan, so he does enjoy hooping as a hobby. However, according to him, he plays basketball and then he eats.
If he wants to stick around for his family, as well as to stick around to keep cashing those Netflix paychecks, his health is something he certainly has to take more seriously, especially as he approaches his 60s.
Speaking to Joe Rogan on his podcast, Sandler said: “I used to take working out so serious … and now I can’t fu***** do it. I play hoop and then I eat. Every time I’m eating I’m going, ‘What are you doing, man? You don’t need to do this.’ I can’t stop, just got a little bit of thickness all over.”
