Desperate Josh Efird is seemingly sending out a hopeful message to his estranged wife, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird. The two filed for divorce on August 1st, 2024 but there have been a lot of unfortunate issues happening along the way. So, what message is Josh sending to Pumpkin? Keep reading for more details.

When Josh Efird and Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird split, fans were surprised. They seemed happy and had four beautiful children together. More so, they really helped balance one another out after nine years together and six years of marriage. The duo had been together through very hard times. These included Mama June’s addiction and taking in Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson to raise as one of their own. Then, in early 2023, Anna Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and that ripped the family apart. Josh was incredibly worried about Pumpkin and her mental health.
Since Josh and Pumpkin split, it has gotten strange. He was allegedly dating a pregnant woman named Keely whereas Pumpkin started seeing Darrin Kitchens. Darrin happens to be Josh’s cousin and they may have been together before she split from Josh. More so, the affair could have caused the divorce. It then was revealed that Keely was having Darrin’s baby and she and Josh were just close friends. Now, Pumpkin and Darrin are traveling and flaunting their romance here, there, and everywhere but it appears Josh is not over it completely. He just reposted a heartbreaking TikTok.
This was the first part of the reposted video and it was just devastating to watch. Fans have been asking about Josh Efird and how Mama June can allow Pumpkin to flaunt her new man. They have even been calling Pumpkin ‘June 2.0.’ The video ended with this sad message.
Though Josh does not make any of his own videos, he does repost a lot and the last two have been heartbreaking. He really cares about his wife and his family and now, from his posts, it feels like that has been ripped from him.

Pumpkin has spoken out briefly, saying this was a mutual decision. However, Josh Efird has not said anything yet regarding the split. Mama June also speaks out whenever she has the chance to clarify situations when it may not be her place:

- I will not be watching anymore. It seems fake to me after the news that Pumpkin and Josh are divorcing. I cannot imagine either with anyone else!!!!!!
- I don’t think Keely is a good option for Josh if she doesn’t even know who the baby father is. Find someone mature. Josh is too good for that mess. Seems to be anyway.
- Pumpkin is just like her mother needs a man to keep her company or be with
Followers also felt June should use punctuation because this may have given some clarity but also gave them a headache. In the end, hopefully, Josh will find someone who makes him truly happy. This is very messy and not in a fun way.

Yes, I’m very sad for him like I said before when you get married it’s for better or worse them vows you are supposed to take seriously till the day you die and them poor kids, don’t think this won’t affect them down the road cause it will pumpkin needs to think about her family and not some new d**k for it’s not worth it.
I also am extremely sad for Josh. in no way does he deserve what Pumpkin is doing to him. he has been stuck to her like glue throughout all her families crazy drama. all the Mamna June / gino stuff. her drug addiction. Alana stuff. the tragic passing of Anna. he helps so much with their kids. And now Pumpkin is tearing her family apart. not even caring how this will affect her kids. so selfish on her part.
I used to watch the show. I really do not care. It’s fake and poor acting. Poor television. boring as he’ll. Moma June is a mess and who cares? If you really wanted to help addicts then you do it. It’s the most stupid show. I watch something else, they all lie and it’s fake. What’s the show about anyway? June not its stupid take it off please.

What is she going to do for a babysitter? Josh was always there to there to babysit and clean house and cook because pumpkin was was taking off
She had to put her nose in someones business and couldn’t be bothered with her kids
He was always just getting hit with a slap in the face. Be with her mom or what have you. He never had a say in stuff. He was her personal slave. and bank!
And she had the audacity to cheat on him !!!

josh is too good of a man he’ll find someone better than pumpkin and what he has now, josh was the only reason I watched the show all of junes drama and pumpkin was unnecessary IMO, josh should have his own show
punkin and Josh keeping it in the family. mama June and husband haven’t been clean long enough and need to work on themselfs and marriage b4 even thinking about trying to get custody of Anna’s daughter, the only reason she wants her is for money and if Anna’s daugther and any extra money that may be for the little girl is on the mama June show, mama June didn’t raise any of her girls really, and never gave any good examples,
