According to The Futon Critic, a single mother decides to go on a holiday with her daughter. She needs to get away from the big city. Moreover, she thinks this is a good opportunity to get back to nature.
When she saw the place, she knew this would be an old-fashioned sort of rustic vacation that would take her away from cellphones and her hectic big city life. Instead, they could relax and run around with the butterflies, go swimming, and relax.
Instead, this woman finds terror at this bucolic vacation spot. Moreover, she “wakes up to find herself hogtied and held captive at her country vacation rental by an unknown assailant.”
Therefore, this single mom is terrified. Why would a stranger do this to her? Now she has to think. Is there someone from her past that came back to terrorize her? Or is someone renting out this cozy place to cause harm to random strangers?
As she struggles to deal with her fear and anger, she must figure out how she is going to get out of this alive. This assailant means business and her time is limited. But, she realizes that this has happened before. Best of all some clues could help her get out.
Now, she needs to become a sleuth. She needs to gather together clues left by the previous guests. This will help her uncover the person causing terror in her life.
